Shaping the food research agenda: linking local food partnerships with researchers
Since its launch in August 2013, the Sustainable Food Cities (SFC) network has seen many fledgling food partnerships joining. Many are at a point of identifying the gaps in their knowledge both about food issues locally, and also where there is data or research elsewhere in the UK that might help inform them.
This free webinar jointly organised by SFC and the Food Research Collaboration, will explore how we can better connect the research community with research needs locally, and how we can identify what those gaps are across the network. We will hear from Tim Lang about the Food Research Collaboration, and from Ellie Dowding of Food Newcastle, and others about their experiences of creating a working relationship between food partnerships and academics locally.
